11/3 & 11/10: Growing, Changing & Preparing for Baby | Educational offerings We’re delighted to bring pregnancy education to families in Central Oregon through an education collaboration between Little Medicine Ranch & Integrative Lactation Services.
Julie Allen Barbour, MSN, RN, IBCLC, CIMI, founder/owner of Integrative Lactation Services, will lead week’s 3 & 4, the next two classes in this 4️⃣-part pregnancy education series. Julie brings more than 30 years of maternal-child and neonatal nursing experience, including NICU care, neonatal transport, and 8-year lead of an outpatient hospital lactation clinic. As an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, she combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, evidence-based approach to supporting families through , breastfeeding, and early parenthood.

Changes in Pregnancy
Pregnancy brings incredible changes to a woman’s body, and there’s so much to understand along the way! Come comfortable and ready for conversation as we explore the physical changes of pregnancy, share experiences, and incorporate some gentle stretching. We’ll create space for questions, connection, and a deeper appreciation for the amazing work your body is doing. Wear comfortable clothing for some gentle stretches.

Breastfeeding: What You Need to Know
Let’s make learning about breastfeeding both informative and fun! We’ll cover the essentials of lactation, including getting breast feeding off to a good start, recognizing feeding cues, understanding milk supply, how to prepare and what to expect in the early days, and navigating common challenges. Our goal is to help you feel more prepared and confident as you begin your feeding journey.
