FREE COMMUNITY TRIBUTE SCREENING – NOVEMBER 9
JEFFREY (1995)
Love is an adventure. Don't be afraid to take the plunge.
Join us at the Historic Camelot Theatre for a special FREE community screening of Jeffrey as we celebrate the remarkable career of legendary actor Patrick Stewart.
Best known for his iconic roles in Star Trek and X-Men, Stewart delivers a delightfully unexpected, scene-stealing performance as Sterling, a flamboyant, sophisticated interior designer whose humor, wisdom, and larger-than-life personality bring warmth and heart to this beloved LGBTQ+ romantic comedy.
Directed by Christopher Ashley and based on Paul Rudnick's acclaimed stage play, Jeffrey stars Steven Weber, Michael T. Weiss, Patrick Stewart, and Sigourney Weaver. Set against the backdrop of 1990s New York City, the film follows a young gay man navigating love, friendship, and intimacy during the AIDS crisis, finding humor, hope, and courage along the way.
Funny, poignant, and unapologetically queer, Jeffrey remains a memorable celebration of love, resilience, and the enduring importance of community.
