Join North Burial Ground (NBG) docent, Chris Belanger for a free overview tour of Providence's 326 year old historic cemetery! You'll learn about the history of NBG, cemetery symbolism, gravestone types, gravestone language and more. You'll also be introduced to several of the over 150,00 NBG residents.The tour is free, however gratuities are accepted.
DO NOT USE THE MAIN GATE!
The tour steps off from just inside the NBG Rochambeau qate. This unmarked pedestrian gate is next to the bus shelter at the intersection of N. Main & Rochambeau. Park on N. Main (plenty of free parking.)
