The Health Department will offer free Narcan training on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 11:45 a.m. in the Community Room of North United Methodist Church for all who would like to learn how to use it.
Narcan (naloxone) is a medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. This brief, hands-on training will cover when and how to administer Narcan and what to do while waiting for emergency medical help.
