Spring is here, and our Thursday evening walks are BACK! 🌷👟 Longer days, fresh air, familiar faces, and new friendships! Join East Coast Hikers as we kick off another season of evening walks at Mt. Trashmore Park. Whether you’re a regular or joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome! ❤️
📍 Location: Mt. Trashmore Park
310 Edwin Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462
🇺🇸 Meeting Spot: At the American flagpole next to the bathrooms.
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early.
👟 Distance: Approximately 2–3 miles around the lake, with an optional set of stairs and hill for anyone wanting an extra challenge. Distance may vary depending on the group’s pace and available daylight.
🚗 Parking: FREE parking available.
🚻 Bathrooms: Open during park hours.
🐕 Dogs: Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be able to keep up with the group.
👶 Strollers: The paved lake path is stroller-friendly. Stairs and hills are optional.
💰 Cost: FREE event! 🆓
🌦️ Weather: Weather permitting. Any cancellations or changes will be posted in the event discussion.
