Is your child turning 5 on or before September 15, 2027? Take their first big step toward TK or kindergarten with us!This year, the #SCCSD launched 'The Kindergarten Experience'—a brand-new, year-long free event series for prospective kindergarten families in Sioux City.
From September through May, we're hosting quarterly interactive events designed to connect your family with teachers, staff, and future classmates.
What to Expect at This Event:
The November 5 movie night is intended for students entering our West Feeder schools (Liberty, Riverside, Loess Hills, and Irving).
Doors open at 5:30 PM.
This event is sponsored by the Carlson Group (Sioux City): Imagine a fun, family-friendly movie night showing Toy Story 5! Popcorn, soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Orange Fanta, Mr. Pibb, and Root Beer) and candy (Snickers, Reese's, Twix, Milky Way, and Starburst) will be available for $2 each.
Due to limited seating, attendance is restricted to one parent/guardian per incoming kindergartener.
Admission is completely free, but registration is required.
A parent/guardian MUST be present with their student for the duration of the movie night.
Register for your child's movie night at https://fs2.formsite.com/siouxcitycommschools/asbt93s7kl/index.
We can't wait to see you!
