About this Event

Celebrate Black History Month with a matinee of Sweetwater on Tuesday, February 17th at 12 PM, located at Aloma Cinema Grill (2155 Aloma Ave, Winter Park).

Sweetwater tells the inspiring story of Nathaniel "Sweetwater" Clifton, the star of the Harlem Globetrotters, who eventually becomes the first black player to sign a contract with the NBA in 1950.

Please note: This movie is exclusively for seniors (55 years and older). Anyone below that age will not be granted entry to this movie.

A brief presentation on “The Latest in Clinical Research” will be given at the start of the event.

Doors open 30 minutes before the movie's start time. Entry will not be granted once the presentation begins.
