Outline
This CPD is open to ALL Bradford schools, along with MAT schools within Bradford. Schools do not necessarily need a Launchpad Toolkit to attend or benefit from the CPD. However, a Toolkit will allow schools to access wider CPD and supportive documents that will be discussed. It is strongly recommended that ALL schools involved with the MOVING THE BOX initiative attend.
Description
The morning session will focus on embedding interventions where children present with:
More significant interaction & communication needs
Skill gaps affecting core skills
Skill gaps affecting listening/auditory skills
Skill gaps affecting a child’s understanding/receptive language
Skill gaps affecting early vocabulary – the number & range of words and rate of vocabulary expansion.

Wider vocabulary needs & skill gaps
Delayed or limited talk – expressive and wider language skill gaps
Speech sound changes and omissions
Social communication skill gaps affecting peer interactions and PSED progression.
