Knowing when to speak up, create distance, and ask for help is an important part of helping kids navigate uncomfortable or potentially unsafe situations.
Join us for a free, hands-on Stranger Danger Safety Awareness & Self-Defense Seminar where kids will practice recognizing potential problems, responding with confidence, and making safer decisions through active, age-appropriate Krav Maga training.
What Kids Will Practice
✅ Situational Awareness – Recognize potential problems early and know when to seek help.
✅ Verbal Boundaries – Use a clear, confident voice to say “No,” “Stop,” and ask for help.
✅ Deflection & Escape – Create space, move away, and get to safety.
✅ Anti-Bullying & Self-Defense – Practice age-appropriate responses to intimidation and physical confrontation.
✅ Focus & Discipline – Listen, follow directions, make good decisions, and take responsibility.
We’ll explore how these skills apply to personal boundaries, unwanted attention, unsafe requests, bullying, and everyday safety situations.
End on a High Note! 💥🍕
Training ends with a board-breaking ceremony and pizza party! Kids can put their confidence into action, celebrate what they practiced, and cheer each other on.
Parents, Stay & Watch
This is not a drop-off event. Parents will watch from the bleachers and hear the same safety language their children are learning, making it easier to continue the conversation and reinforce these skills at home.
What to Bring
Kids should wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water. Shoes are not worn on the training mat.
No previous martial arts or Krav Maga experience is necessary. This free event is open to community families and current XKM members, so grab your kids, invite another family, and join us on the mat!
