Need plans for Saturday 31 October? Bring the kids to the FREE Kids Light Party - Lights in the Community event, an evening of music, dancing, crafts and games for children aged 4–12.
It’s a great way to end the October half-term, and a bright, non-spooky alternative to Halloween.
What the kids can look forward to
Face painting: Colourful designs and lots of happy faces.
Glow-in-the-dark crafts: Creative activities they'll love getting stuck into.
Music and dancing: A proper kids' dance party!
Games, raffles and prizes: Fun challenges and exciting surprises.
Story corner: Inspiring children's stories to spark their imaginations.
And of course, dressing up is welcome! Think bright colours, sparkly outfits and fun, non-spooky costumes.

Parents, there’s something for you too
While the kids are busy, come along to Light Parents’ Night in the same building. There’ll be food, games and relaxed chats about parenting and family life. It’s a nice chance to meet other local parents and actually sit down for once.
Win a family trip to LEGOLAND Windsor
One lucky family will win a day out for four at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. To enter the prize draw, you’ll need to submit a competition voucher at another TLC event. Full terms, eligibility and entry deadline apply, and we’ll share all the details on the night.

Everyone’s welcome
The Kids Light Party is hosted by Liberty Kidz, the children’s ministry of The Liberty Church, and it’s open to every family, whatever your background or beliefs. You don’t need to go to church to come along.
Whether you’re in Croydon, Purley, South Norwood, Thornton Heath, Sutton, Bromley or elsewhere in South London, we’d love to see you. Bring the kids, invite another family and come and enjoy the night with us.
