The Ellington Sponsors have provided critical support to the 41st Annual Sarasota Jazz Festival. Together with our presenting sponsor, Entertainment Cruise Productions / The Jazz Cruise, the Ellington Sponsors have been committed to sustaining this historic jazz event. The majority have been with the festival for many years. Whether old friends or new, we express our sincerest gratitude to each for making this year's festival possible.
Box Seating Only
This event is being staged outdoors at Nathan Benderson Park. This is a Rain or Shine event.
While this continues to be our traditional FREE kickoff festival event, this year there will be a limited number of BOX SEATS available. These seats must be obtained, while they last, on this Eventbrite site. No tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event. No processing fees will be charged by Eventbrite.
The Box Seating is designed in a grid of 6'x6' Boxes to support social distancing and safe viewing during the Covid-19 pandemic. Each Box Seat area is surrounded on all four sides by a vacant box or an aisle. See seating chart below.
This is reserved seating. You choose which Box you want!
There are only 239 Boxes available. A Box may only have up to four seats. NOT MORE! NO EXCEPTIONS! Strangers will not be assigned to the same box.

Parking:
There will be ample parking available for a $5 fee at Nathan Benderson Park in an area adjacent to the performance venue.
This event will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Gates to the concert will be open at 2:30 PM. Please arrive early enough to clear the admissions process prior to the beginning of the performance.
Additional Covid-19 Precautions
Please know that we are taking extensive precautions to produce a safe event during the current stage of the Covid-19 pandemic. We greatly appreciate and require your willingness to comply with all of the following safety protocols established for that purpose:
All attendees will be temperature checked at the entrance to the seating area. Anyone registering a temperature at or above 100 degrees will be denied admission.
Masks will be required to be worn at all times while at the festival, except while sitting in your box seats.
Attendees are required to do there best to maintain social distancing of six feet when moving about the festival grounds.
Attendees are encouraged to be vaccinated at least two weeks prior to the performance date whenever possible.
