About this Event
You are invited to a 12-week Introduction to Permaculture Course in Wrecsam where each week is based around one of the 12 permaculture principles, explored through practical application in community growing spaces.
Permaculture draws inspiration from natural ecosystems and shares ways we can meet our wellbeing needs on mutiple levels. With aspects of earth care, people care and fair share, permaculture can be applied to how we can grow food and other plants, how we can work together in society in a way that learns from - and works in harmony with - nature. Supporting wellbeing in individuals, communities and the environment, this whole system designs approach that can be used at home, in community projects and workplaces. The growing in this course is based on stock-free organic permaculture in urban based community gardens, where we work with wildlife and other parts of nature to co-create biodiversity, food sources and increased access to natural environments.
Participants who complete 3 or more sessions across the 12 weeks can receive an Introduction to Permaculture Certificate certifying the numbers of hours completed.
