Join Us for Our International Men's Day Community EventPositive Somebody and NAMI Lansing invite you to an evening of connection, community, and meaningful conversation about men's mental health.
Due to a scheduling conflict at the venue, our International Men's Day event has been moved to the day after International Men's Day. While the date has changed, our mission remains the same: bringing people together, encouraging open conversations, and helping break the stigma surrounding men's mental health.
Community resource networking begins at 5:30 PM, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with local organizations, learn about available resources, and build meaningful relationships. Our mental health program will begin at 7:00 PM and will feature inspiring speakers, opportunities for reflection, and conversations focused on support, resilience, and wellness.
The evening will also include: • Community resource networking
• Yoga and wellness activities
• Music by DJ Metro Melik
• Inspiring guest speakers
• Free snacks
• Free community resources
• Free shuffleboard available until 10:00 PM
As Silver Bells in the City takes place downtown the same evening, our event is the perfect stop before or after enjoying the festivities. Whether you're heading downtown afterward or looking for a meaningful way to begin your evening, we invite you to join us.
Men's mental health matters. Together, we can create a community where men feel supported, connected, and comfortable reaching out for help when they need it. We hope you'll join us as we work to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and build stronger connections throughout our community.
