Join a free guided walk Supported by the national Lottery community fund along the stunning escarpment north of Reeth, taking in panoramic views over Arkengarthdale and Swaledale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.This is a 3 mile ridge walk through genuinely dramatic Dales scenery, with uneven surfaces, gates, stiles, and a steep stepped descent through an old lead mining area along the way. We'll start and finish with the chance to grab some refreshments together, so there's a warm end to a proper day out on the fells.
This walk is graded moderate to hard and asks a real level of fitness, you should be comfortable walking at least 7 miles over uneven ground with some steep sections. [Confirm difficulty rating before publishing, 7/10 Very Hard shown elsewhere on the listing]. Open to ages 14 and up, and pace throughout is shaped around the group's own ability on the day.
