Once a year, a single Reno show floor holds more of the earth's best work than most people will see in a lifetime.
Visiting Reno this weekend?
This is the one that surprises people. 50+ dealers from across the country fill the hall with cut gemstones, raw crystals, fossils, meteorites, finished jewelry and material you cannot buy anywhere else in town, alongside fifty-plus museum-quality display cases pulled from private collections that almost never go on public view.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND
- 50+ dealers selling finished jewelry, rough material, fossils, crystals, beads, slabs and lapidary equipment, at every price point from a few dollars up.
- 50+ museum-quality display cases from private collections.
- A fluorescent mineral room, where ordinary-looking rocks turn electric under UV light.
- Live demonstrations of lapidary work, intarsia and rock knapping.
- Educational talks by geologists and specialists, running all three days.
- A mineral identification station, so bring in that rock you have been wondering about.
- Silent auctions with lots closing every half hour.
- Raffle drawings, with a $500 grand prize on Sunday.
- The Crystal Barista coffee service.
BRING THE KIDS
The Kids' Corner has gold panning, metal detecting and games, and every single spin of the Wheel of Fortune wins a prize. Free admission, free parking, and a building full of things kids are actually allowed to look at closely. If you are visiting Reno with children and running out of ideas, this solves your Saturday.
A BIGGER SHOW THAN USUAL THIS YEAR
The 2026 Jackpot of Gems is held in conjunction with the California Federation of Mineralogical Societies Annual Show and Convention, drawing collectors, dealers and exhibitors from across the West to Reno.
