Your 20s come with big decisions and not always enough guidance. My Voice, My Future is a free afternoon for young adults to ask questions, explore issues that affect their lives, meet community leaders, and connect with others who want to make a difference.
Whether you're a student, young professional, first-time voter, or simply curious about the issues shaping your future, there's something for you.
What You’ll Walk Away With
- A better understanding of issues affecting young adults, including student debt, affordable housing, AI and the future of work, and social media misinformation.
- The opportunity to ask candidates questions and hear about their priorities and positions.
- Helpful voter information and community resources.

What to Expect
- 12:00 PM: Check-in and event welcome
- 12:30 PM: Conversations about issues affecting young adults
- 1:30 PM: Candidate conversations and Q&A
- 2:30 PM: Community resources, interactive activities, and discussions
- 3:30 PM: Networking, connections, and closing activities

- Open to everyone 18+: You do not need to be a Montgomery College student.
- Nonpartisan and welcoming: No prior knowledge of politics or civic engagement is required.
- Location: Student Services Building, Montgomery College — Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee St., Rockville, MD 20850.
- Free parking available on site. Please park in parking lot 6.
