your humble hosts are thrilled to introduce you to their favorite, most melty, & magical form of fusion : micro fusion
micro fusion incorporates a close, intimate connection, smol weight shifts, shared breathing, tiny isolations, and supreme listening to the music and your partner. rather than a dance of big, fun, fast moves, and “doing” — this is an ultimate invitation to dropping into the moment and just “being” with your partner. it is an embodied experience of how less is more. and an invitation to experience the magical bliss of melting into one with another being, in an especially cozy & heart-centered way.
and, of course, it’s oh so juicy ✨
please note this will be nearly entirely all in closed embrace (ie - like a hug). if this sounds terribly uncomfortable to you (and not in a fun, pushing yourself kind of way) we still invite you to come, but you may prefer to just watch for this lesson.

What is fusion?
Fusion is a partnered dance that combines many movement styles, whether it's swing, blues, salsa, zouk, tango, ballroom, bachata, etc. Aside from issues related to consent or safety, in fusion dancing there is no such thing as "doing it wrong”. This freedom is ideal for enhancing connection (as there are no standard moves that can be anticipated), unlocking creativity, and exploring play. Fusion is a conversation style dance, where both leads and follows take turns listening to each other’s input. Anyone is welcome to lead or follow regardless of gender. It is centered on connection and improvisation, and it can take numerous forms depending on the combination of music and dance partners. Fusion is ideal for shaking up your patterns and stepping into the unknown, as well as shifting out of your head and into your body.
No partner needed, and while some experience with partner dancing is always a plus, all experience levels are welcome.
We kindly remind you that since we all have various dancing backgrounds, not everyone is used to or comfortable with the same types of dancing connections. Try your best to make every dance consensual and comfortable for both partners. 🫶
