Free First Sunday: Walter AndersonSunday, October 4 from 1–4 PM at the LSU Museum of Art
Free and open to the public. Please note: All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult while attending the program.
Dive into the colorful world of celebrated artist Walter Inglis Anderson by creating your own watercolor paintings. Between 2 and 3 PM, join our Tigers in the Galleries, LSU student educators, for short tours about Anderson's work. Free and open to all ages.
We are delighted to have Line4Line join us this Free First Sunday, October 4 for a special book giveaway and art activity. Line4Line will be in the first-floor lobby of the Shaw Center for the Arts from 1–4 PM. The October Book of the Month is 'Cat Nap' written and illustrated by Brian Lies. This story is about an adventurous cat in a museum. Join us for your own museum and literacy adventure this Sunday!
