This year’s free mobile art classes for kids will be focusing on fiber arts! Your student will learn how to sew, weave, and felt in this 3-week series.Grades 1-4 will complete one project each week on October 5, 12, and 19. Classes run 4-5:30 pm in the V.O. Dobbins community room.
Lesson 1: Sewing skills; students will leave with a sewn felt pillow or stuffed animal
Lesson 2: Weaving on a loop loom; students will leave with a completed potholder
Lesson 3: Wet felting; students will leave with a felted soap or geode
