Embark on a wild adventure with Where the Wild Things Are, a visually stunning adaptation of the beloved children’s book by Maurice Sendak. When young Max sails away to a mysterious island inhabited by giant creatures known as the Wild Things, he is crowned their king and discovers a world filled with imagination, wonder, and unexpected lessons about family, friendship, and belonging.This event is part of The Big Read Lakeshore, a community-wide reading initiative that takes place each October and November, featuring more than 100 free events across Muskegon and other Lakeshore communities.
