After graduating SDSU with a degree in finance he joined his father’s family funeral business helping Veterans connect with their burial benefits while continuing to learn everything from below the ground up in the funeral industry. The other half of the Whatley team is Linda Lee with deep roots in San Diego from the 1800’s. She grew up learning to love San Diego’s cemeteries from educator, historian, and First Lady of Mission Bay, Lenore Barrett-Carroll, (her grandmother). Together the Whatley’s goal is to help you make an informed choice about pre-planning while highlighting lower cost local family owned businesses, and keeping your money in our beloved San Diego.
