FREE TASTER SESSION FOR WOMEN IN THEIR 40s - 80s.Friday 2 October, 2–3pm
Connaught Cinema (upstairs in Frasers Bar), Union Place, Worthing.
Women aged 40+ are invited to a free, playful taster session using collage and animation. Join us to find out more about our project Daisy Chain!
Drop in! Everyone is welcome! No previous creative experience is needed or expected.
Inspired by Věra Chytilová’s iconic 1966 film Daisies, our project, Daisy Chain, (which kicks off for six weeks on October 23rd) will create a supportive space for women to experiment, collaborate and explore themes of friendship, ageing, visibility and agency.
Together, we’ll develop mixed-media collage and a co-created film that reflects something of our lives in 2026. There will be lots of different ways to take part, and you don’t have to appear in any film or photography.
