🚨 GARY, INDIANA — AN ELDERLY MOTHER NEEDS OUR HELP. VOLUNTEERS & DONATED SERVICES NEEDED. ❤️An elderly mother living with dementia is navigating a home where belongings crowd walkways, doorways, and everyday living spaces. These conditions create serious concerns about falls and safe access.
Her family has reached out for help. We’re answering—and we need our community beside us.
As believers, we’re called to love our neighbors through action. This is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus: showing up, carrying a load, and treating a struggling family with dignity.
Bless This Mess NWI and Patricia Willoughby (New Vibe Cleaning & More LLC) are joining together to provide this cleanout and cleaning FREE to the family.
📅 SATURDAY, JANUARY 9 & SUNDAY, JANUARY 10, 2027
⏰ 7 AM–2 PM Central, both days
📍 GARY, INDIANA — weather permitting
🚨 WE NEED PEOPLE AND BUSINESSES TO COMMIT NOW so we can organize the crew, dumpsters, hauling, and supplies this project requires.
WE NEED:
• Volunteers to sort, bag, organize, and clean
• Helpers able to lift and carry heavy belongings
• Cleaning companies willing to donate labor
• Junk-removal crews and donated hauling
• Dumpster providers willing to donate a dumpster, delivery/pickup, or disposal fees
• Cleaning supplies and work gloves
Churches, ministry teams, local businesses, and neighbors throughout Northwest Indiana: can you give a few hours or help meet one of these needs?
Our goal is to clear walking routes, restore usable rooms, and help this mother live more safely. Every volunteer and donated service brings us closer.
