VOLUNTEERS & FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED
Greetings,
Our organization Community Advocacy Awareness Network CAAN is a grassroots 501c3 not for profit that serves the community abroad - youth seniors veterans unhoused population community engagement advocacy center supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs
We have been doing this dinner for over 24 years. Starting on Kane Street at the Keystone Lodge #15 in Aurora
It's our Annual Celebration of Unity Dinner
In memory of Frank & Toni Gordon (Marines) who help us start the community Marines Toys for Tots, we continue to honor Veterans at the Unity Dinner. Frank died in December 2014, with a toy in his hand. So yes the Veterans appreciation is very important to me!
The event is very diverse and it shows that there are still caring people in the 🌍
We don't get lots of money or grants, we manage to stay connected to the community by doing fundraisers that support small businesses and entrepreneurs and good people who care about serving the community.
