What to Bring: Nothing! Everything is provided, including Mahjong tiles, rule handouts, and official 2026 NMJL cards for in-class practice. (Please note: Cards are for classroom use during sessions and remain with the instructor.)

How to read hands, decode abbreviations, understand colors, and recognize key rules.
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM | Building the Wall & Dealing Essentials
Hands-on practice shuffling tiles, rolling dice, building walls, and dealing hands correctly.

Play actual hands with exposed tiles! Learn how to pick, discard, call tiles for exposure, and recognize winning hands with live coaching.
