Residents of Albemarle County, the City of Charlottesville, and the Town of Scottsville are invited to dispose of their unwanted appliances on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The special collection event will take place at the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center located at 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Commercial participation is prohibited.
