Learn basic te reo Māori, tikanga Māori and waka paddling skills before heading out on the water for a unique cultural and recreational experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau to connect with te ao Māori, work together as a team, and enjoy time outdoors.

Young children can sit between older participants and are not required to paddle. Participants aged seven years and over are expected to paddle where able.
