About this Event

End your week RIGHT at Freaky Fridays – enjoy group art sessions, discussions and other activities! Facilitated by BIST Staff.

This is a DROP-IN program, but if you are able to register in advance, it helps us organize!



The Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) enhances the lives of people living with the effects of brain injury.

Membership for Brain Injury Survivors costs $5 a year and can be waived if this fee is a barrier.

August Programs:



August 1st: Group Mosaic Art Project - Part One

Join us in a group activity where we will work on creating a mosaic. We'll develop the concept together and then get to creating!



August 8th: Movement Based Mural - SPECIAL LOCATION

What happens when you throw paint at a wall? An artistic creation that's as fun to create as it is beautiful to look at!

In this special Freaky Friday session, we'll create a amazing canvas mural and have fun throwing balloons full of paint.

August 15th - Group Mosaic Art Project - Part Two

The concept is done - now we'll finish our group mosaic!



August 22nd - Calligraphy Letter Writing

Create beautiful cards using calligraphic writing.



August 29th - Ice Cream Social 🍨

Let's finish the month with some cool, sweet treats!
