Frankston Archery Club is opening its doors to the community on Saturday 21 November for our 2026 Open Day, and we’d love to see local families, individuals and anyone who has ever wondered what it’s like to pick up a bow and shoot an arrow.Whether you’re 8 or 80, completely new to archery, looking for a new sport, or simply after something different to do with the family, come down and meet the people behind your local archery club.
We’ll be running FREE one-hour Come & Try sessions throughout the day, with our experienced club coaches and volunteers there to get you started. No previous experience or equipment is needed — we supply everything.
There’ll be plenty happening throughout the day:
• Free Come & Try archery sessions for the community
• Social shooting and the chance to see experienced archers in action
• Archery equipment swap meet — buy, sell or pick up some pre-loved gear
• Free sausage sizzle
• Meet our members, coaches and volunteers
• Learn about joining the club, beginner courses and the different styles of archery
• A relaxed, family-friendly day at the range
We’re also inviting Archery Australia members from other clubs to come along, shoot at Frankston and enjoy the day with us, with normal visitor range fees waived for the event.
