Frankenstuffy’s Wild and Free Cryptid Taxidermy Workshop
Unleash your inner mad scientist in this delightfully quirky crafting workshop for adults!
Have you ever looked at a sweet, unassuming stuffed animal and thought, "This needs wings, three extra eyes, and the body of a dinosaur"? If so, you’ve found your flock of like-minded folk!
In Frankenstuffy’s Wild and Free Taxidermy, we are tossing the rules of nature out the window. Part upcycling lab, part whimsical surgery, this workshop guides you through the creative process of dismantling pre-loved plushies and reimagining them into entirely new, fantastical, and beautifully bizarre creatures. Create your own “wild and free”-standing Cryptid or a wall-mounted display piece for yourself or a loved one.
A variety of stuffed animals, fabrics, trims, decorative embellishments, glues, threads, needles, and tools will be provided for the class. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies and plushies if you prefer.
No sewing or surgical experience required; just a sense of humor and a wild imagination to bring your creature’s unique personality to life!
