Everyone’s favorite camel is back in Smith Park for a celebration of beasts, brews and books! An official Mississippi Book Festival event, our biergarten will feature craft brews and libations, food vendors and live music, along with Jackson’s celebrity camel, Frank, for some late afternoon fun after the festival and before the after-party at Hal & Mal’s. Come by for a selfie with Frank and drop off a book or two for Downtown Jackson’s Capitol Street Books, a used bookstore and nonprofit project opening in early 2027.
