Music and Murder! Love and Loss! Seashells and Spectres! All this (and more!) is what you will see in our inaugural Framing Device festival!Six playwrights translated six paintings to the stage in this evening of short works! If you liked what we did to Christmas Cards from merry, ole England, just wait 'til you see what we do with masterworks by a guy from Scandinavia!
Each play translates and transforms the artwork of Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (best known for The Scream) to the stage. The following six plays will be seen back-to-back each night and, in the end, the audience will vote to determine which is Audience Favorite and which is the Best Translation.
