Small businesses are such an important part of Fowler. They’re the local butcher, the plumber, the takeaway shop, the grocery store owner and so many of the familiar faces we see every day.But I also know how tough things have been. Rising costs don’t stop at home. Small business owners are feeling them through supplier prices, electricity, internet, wages and the everyday cost of keeping their doors open.
That’s why my office is holding our first Fowler Small Business Forum this October, during NSW Small Business Month.
The goal is for this forum to be a place where local business owners can speak openly about what’s working, what isn’t, connect with others who understand the challenges, and have a direct conversation with my office about the support and changes they need.
We’ll also hear from a representative from AMP Super about Pay Day Super and what the changes mean for businesses.
