Grab your broomsticks (aka paddleboards 🏄♀️) and join us for our 4th Annual Witches & Wizards Paddle! 🎃📅 Date: Saturday, October 17th
⏰ Meet-Up: 5:00 PM | Launch: 5:30 PM
📍 Location: nokomis beach on the ICW side. Just past the barge, Across from pops. (* NOT Where we typically have our paddles/events)
We will paddle from launch to snake island. We will be grilling out on the island and watching sunset. Bring your lights to put on your board so we can paddle back to pops for a drink after then head across to our initial launch point .
Come dressed as a witch, wizard, or any Halloween costume you love—there are no rules, just get creative and have fun! 🧛♀️🧟♂️🦹♀️
⚓ Important Reminders
• A life jacket and whistle are required by Florida law—don’t forget yours!
• To paddle after hours (in the dark) you are REQUIRED a white light on your board at the very least. If you do not have that order lights from Amazon, there’s a ton of waterproof options.
• This is an at-will community paddle. By participating, you agree to follow all boating regulations.
• Suncoast SUP Society and its admins are not responsible for tickets, injuries, or any issues during this event.
