Our talk and topic: Turning Your Data Strategy Into A Competitive Advantage
Heather is the Founder & CEO of Horizon Zero, a smart data and digital innovation consultancy. She previously worked as Product and Operations Director at Open Banking (OBL/OBIE) and as UK & Europe regional lead for API Banking at Standard Chartered. She's an international speaker on open banking, open finance and smart data, and was a participant in the FCA's Supercharged AI Sandbox.
Her talk will focus on why data strategy matters earlier than most founders think - the opportunity it creates and the risk of deprioritising it, especially in the age of AI.
We will then be joined by a panel of investors for our VC Q&A. This is an open forum for Founders to ask questions that you wouldn't typically have the opportunity to ask during a pitch. Some of the topics we discussed previously include:
- What has changed in the VC landscape in the past 3 months?
- How does a VC firm make decisions today?
- What is the best way to introduce yourself to an investor?
