Full description
Bring your idea. Build your app in a day.
You have an app idea you've never started because you can't build it yourself. Founder in a Day changes that. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, fifty people will walk into Music City Work Club with an idea and walk out with a working app, a live website, a way to get paid, and a pitch delivered to a real audience. AI does the coding. Coaches and experts in the room keep you moving. You bring the idea and a laptop.
How the day works
9 AM, Build. You turn your concept into a functioning application with the help of coaches and AI specialists working alongside you. Don't have a fully formed idea yet? The first hour includes ideation support to help you land on one.
1 PM, Launch. You set up your landing page, turn on payment processing, and sharpen your pitch.
5 PM, Showcase. Doors open to the Nashville community until 6 PM. You demo what you built in front of friends, family, and the local founder crowd.
What you leave with
A functioning app, not a prototype. A live website with its own URL. Pricing and a payment mechanism in place. A pitch delivered to an actual audience. Professional photos and video of your build day. Coaching and expert support from start to finish.
Who this is for
People who have an idea and have never started it. People who don't code and don't plan to learn. People who want a real result by the end of the day instead of another planning session. No technical background is needed. If you can describe what you want, you can build it here.
Your coaches
Graeme Dennis, software developer and coach. Andrew Daniel, founder of ICOSA. Matt Mintun, web development agency owner. Hansell Cruz, founder of ChatMMM.
Tickets
Only 50 seats, priced on a ladder. Seats 1 through 15 are $100. Seats 16 through 30 are $150. Seats 31 through 50 are $199. The earlier you grab your seat, the less you pay.
Good to know
Bring your laptop and charger. Meals are provided. You're welcome to attend part of the day, but full participation is strongly recommended since the build compounds hour by hour. Unfinished projects are still a win; the goal is momentum, not perfection. The 5 PM Showcase is free and open to the public, so invite anyone you want cheering you on.
