TOPIC: Licensing (Employee Contributions and IP)
This session we welcome Matt Ferry, Technology Transactions Partner at Morrison Foerster, as he opens up about Licensing (Employee Contributions and IP). Matt will walk life science startups through critical issues in intellectual property licensing and employee IP contributions. For founders, it will highlight key considerations and common pitfalls in assigning IP from employees, contractors, and collaborators. For startups pursuing partnerships, it will outline licensing structures, negotiation points, and practical approaches to protecting core assets.
