About this Event
Foundations of American Mahjong at Coffee Corral is the perfect introduction to the game that's bringing women together around the table.
In this fun, welcoming 2.5-hour workshop led by Keep Mahjing On, you'll learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong from the ground up—no experience required. We'll cover everything from tile recognition and reading the NMJL card to the Charleston, game flow, basic strategy, and table etiquette, all in a relaxed, supportive environment designed for true beginners.
All Mahjong materials are provided, so just bring yourself and a willingness to learn. Whether you're hoping to join friends at the table, start a new hobby, or discover what all the excitement is about, you'll leave with the confidence to continue your Mahjong journey.
At Keep Mahjing On, we believe Mahjong is more than a game—it's community, connection, and creating lifelong memories, one tile at a time.
