About this Event
On 10 December 2026, International Human Rights Day, FORWARD Amsterdam and Lawyers for Lawyers will organise an event regarding the report Challenges and risks faced by lawyers advocating for LGBTQIA+ clients, the first study of the risks faced by these lawyers, based on research in over 16 countries and interviews with more than 40 lawyers. The evening includes a presentation of the report, a conversation with Ugandan lawyer Bridget Nazziwa Patricia about her fight against the Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023, and an open Q&A followed by drinks.
The event will take place at Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, Strawinskylaan 4129, 1077 ZX Amsterdam.
