About this Event
Religious responses to assisted dying are often presented in public debate as one-dimensional and lacking in nuance, and some politicians and campaigners have suggested that faith-based perspectives should be excluded altogether. Hosted by the Dean of King’s College London, this session brings together voices from different faith traditions and perspectives to offer a different kind of conversation: one in which faith-infused viewpoints engage one another thoughtfully, and where differing understandings of human dignity and human life can be explored with creativity and intellectual seriousness.
Open to the public and hosted at King’s College, London, with Imam Yunus Dudwhala, Rabbi Jonathan Romain, the Revd Dr Joanna Collicutt, and the Revd Dr Charlie Bell in conversation with the Dean, the Revd Dr Ellen Clark-King. All are welcome for a stimulating and thought-provoking evening of discussion on this most pertinent of contemporary issues.
