About this Event
The Lee County FL NAACP 5110-B Political Action Committee will host a nonpartisan City of Fort Myers Candidate Forum on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 p.m. at the Quality Life Center, 3210 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Fort Myers.
The forum will feature candidates Kevin Anderson, Terolyn Watson, Chantel Rhoads, and Amber Ware. Each candidate will participate in a moderated question-and-answer session addressing the respective responsibilities of the mayor and ward representatives, their vision for Fort Myers, and their specific action plans for addressing the needs and priorities of residents.
The forum is designed to inform and empower voters by providing a fair, respectful opportunity to compare the candidates’ leadership approaches, qualifications, priorities, and proposed solutions. All candidates will receive equal consideration and an opportunity to respond to questions concerning citywide and neighborhood issues.
