✨Passionate about dance and a dreamer who believes that everyone can learn to dance, João Jezuz embarked on his journey to become a professional dance instructor over a decade ago in Rio de Janeiro. He has shared his expertise at renowned dance studios such as Jaime Aroxa’s Studio, Renata Peçanha’s Studio, and also at the University of Rio from '15-'20. Jezuz's teaching journey has taken him to various countries and events across Europe, South America, and New Zealand. During his time in New Zealand, he founded Karioka Dance, a highly successful methodology for teaching Brazilian Dances. João has taught at several forró festivals in Rio de Janeiro, as well as Hamburg congress and will be one of the judges at the upcoming forró competition in Hamburg.

⚖️LEVELS
To join you are recommended to have basic knowledge of forró, taking a beginner course or similar. Talk to us if you have any questions about the level. We usually rotate between couples as this adds another dimension to learning, but if you prefer to have a fixed partner that´s fully accepted.
