About the Experience
Forest bathing, or Shinrin Yoku, is the Japanese practice of slowing down, awakening your senses, and gently reconnecting with the natural world. Guided by Jenny Harrow-Keeler, a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, you’ll be invited into simple, sensory-based mindfulness practices that support relaxation, presence, and restoration.
This experience takes place on a peaceful ranch setting surrounded by forest, rather than a deep forest hike. We’ll move slowly and intentionally through the landscape, allowing nature to be a supportive backdrop for awareness and connection.
What makes this offering unique is the integration of time with the horses of Belos Cavalos. Horses are deeply intuitive, sensitive beings who respond to our energy and presence with honesty and gentleness. Through quiet, guided interaction, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with them in a grounded, respectful way.
This is not a horseback riding experience. Instead, the focus is on cultivating mindfulness through the senses in nature, alongside slow, present-moment connection with the horses.
Together, the elements of land, breath, and horse presence create a space that is deeply calming, reflective, and nourishing.
What to Expect
- Welcome & Introduction: Learn about forest bathing and equine-guided connection, and how these practices support wellbeing
- Guided Sensory Practices: Slow down and tune into the sights, sounds, scents, and textures of the natural environment
- Horse Connection: Engage in gentle, guided interaction with the horses from the ground (no riding)
- Sharing & Integration: Close with optional reflection and integration as a group
This program is limited to 20 participants to create an intimate and spacious experience.
Sliding Scale Pricing
We offer a sliding scale of $55 – $95 per person to make this program accessible while sustaining our ability to offer it regularly.
$95: Community Supporter — helps cover costs and contributes to making space for others
$75: Standard Rate — covers the true cost of participation
$55: Supported Rate — for those who need financial flexibility

About Belos Cavalos
At Belos Cavalos, we utilize the wisdom of the horse to enhance human connection, facilitating a process of healing when pain and trauma are too difficult to access through words alone. Through equine experiential programs, the horses help awaken new awareness, presence, and possibility.
About Your Guide
Jenny Harrow-Keeler is a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and founder of EcoWisdom Wellness. She guides forest bathing and mindfulness-based ecotherapy experiences for healthcare workers, schools, conservation organizations, and in partnership with luxury hotels, wineries, and wellness retreats across Sonoma County. Her work bridges mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and deep connection to the natural world.
Who Can Attend
This is a community offering open to both Sonoma County residents and visitors. All are welcome — no prior experience with forest bathing or horses is needed. Simply bring your curiosity, openness, and willingness to slow down.
