About this Event
What is forest bathing? Come along on this relaxed and fun experience and find out all about what it involves (no water or swimming) how it can improve your physical health and wellbeing, how you can practice it on your own, and most of all enjoy spending a peaceful 2 hours in a beautiful and quiet ancient woodland. We'll be in a small group but you'll be carrying out guided exercises on your own.
In this special Autumn walk we'll be slowing down and tuning in to what nature has to offer, as well as enjoying a hot chocolate together which I will provide
You will need to walk around a mile in total, mostly at a slow pace, sometimes on uneven and wet/muddy ground. Please bring a blanket to sit on, suitable layers for the weather conditions and temperature, a drink and snack if needed, and wear shoes that you are comfortable walking through the (muddy) undergrowth in.
This session is a calm and tranquil experience and therefore is aimed at adults, please do not bring dogs on this walk. If it needs to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions such as a weather warning, or a change in government guidance you will be notified as soon as possible and will be refunded or able to book on to a subsequent date.
I have a COVID risk assessment in place, am trained in Outdoor First and Mental Health First Aid and hold an International Forest Bathing Guide Diploma.
