About this Event

Forest bathing is a deep nature connection practice that helps us slow down, and be present with the natural world.

Through a series of invitations, we will tune into our senses and have a slow and meditative walk. Based on forest bathing practices, we will:

  • Deeply connect to the sounds, smells, textures, and views of nature, allowing us to relax into and become part of the landscape.
  • Explore the more than human world with all our senses.
  • Have an opportunity to share our experience with the group through mini councils, fostering community connection.
  • Taste safe herbal teas from the land during a tea ceremony!

What to bring and wear:

  • Comfortable closed toe walking shoes such as running shoes, or flat boots.
  • Layers to stay comfortable outdoors.
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Sitting pad (There will be times when we will sit on the ground. If you physically can't sit on the ground, please bring a camp chair you can carry. A limited amount of sitting will be available).
