Nature is abundant with food, medicine, and more, yet we have forgotten our ancient practices of co-creating with the natural world. Foraging is a powerful gateway into deeper relationship with the ecosystems we inhabit. When done properly, the practice engenders a sense of kinship and care for our environment. It takes time and focus to learn about wild foods, but in the process we are rewarded with greater health, happiness, resilience, and connection. In this walk we will cover topics such as:-Identification of plants and mushrooms
-How to harvest sustainably and prepare different wild edible foods throughout the seasons
-Basics of botany, mycology, field herbalism and medicinal preparations
-Planting & propagation techniques
-Agroforestry principles & practices
-Temperate ecology and more
