Meet Me in the Garden is a gorgeous historical fiction spanning decades. Inspired by the author's own family's history, this book tells the story of a young Creole woman and her older sisters as they move from New Orleans to Los Angeles and wrestle with themes of colorism, identity, and familial expectations.
