JD’s wife, Dothan Nurseries bookkeeper, and a woman who REALLY loves sweets.
Her idea? Get 30 cake lovers together, everybody brings a cake, and everybody gets to taste.
No judging. No voting. No prizes. Just cake. A LOT of cake.
🎂 HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
9:30–10:30 AM | Cake Maker Check-In
Bring one whole cake—homemade or store-bought—and something to display it on. We’ll have a card for your cake’s name, your name, and an optional little story.
10:30–11:30 AM | THE CAKE SHOW
All 30 cakes go on display! Grab some coffee, walk the table, take pictures, visit, and decide which ones you NEED to try.
Around 11:30 AM | WE EAT.
We’ll cut the cakes into tasting portions. Cake makers go first with a box to choose several favorites. After all 30 have gone through, we’ll open the remaining cake to everyone else while supplies last.
The rule is simple: NO CAKE. NO TASTE. 😂
