Come celebrate the release of Bellevue String Quartet's first CD, FOR FOUR! Fantasias, fugues and four-part consort from the Renaissance to the present day.Our debut album FOR FOUR journeys across four centuries of music, with J.S. Bach’s Art of Fugue at its heart.
We bring Bach into vivid conversation with Purcell, Locke, Byrd and bold contemporary works by Hanna Blomberg and Guido Morini. Four distinct voices chase, challenge and inspire one another, revealing the timeless power of music created in dialogue.
