About this Event
Foothills Parent Education - Session 2
Growing Independence
As children grow, they are learning how to remember, plan, organize, manage big feelings, shift between activities, solve problems, and take increasing responsibility for themselves.
But independence doesn’t happen all at once.
Join us for dinner and conversation about executive functioning, habits, routines, and the development of independence in your child.
We’ll explore what is developmentally realistic, how these skills grow, and how adults can create the conditions that help children gradually take ownership of everyday tasks.
